There are so many great ways to get involved with music at St. Peter’s!
St. Peter’s Choir
St. Peter’s Choir is for anyone who enjoys music and is eager to serve the congregation as worship leaders. The choir is open to all adults and High School students. No experience is necessary, only a desire to sing. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings 5:30pm – 6:30pm. During the summer, there is no Wednesday evening rehearsals. Only short rehearsals before the service to prepare an easy anthem to sing during the service. Summer Choir is a great way to test the waters if you are interested in singing in services. For our current choir schedule, click the link below.
Singing in the choir is a great way to serve in worship by making a joyful noise! We hope you will consider becoming a member. Give us a try, Wednesday evenings 5:30pm , or Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall.
Unbound is the name of our modern worship band that plays “camp songs” in between first service and Sunday school at Coffee House. They also play at our church’s annual Fellowship Picnic. All are welcome! Contact Deborah Vanicek at email@example.com or Dusty Knight at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
S.P.A.R.K. stands for Singing, Praising, And Rejoicing Kids. This is our new children’s music program! Students involved with this program will learn Bible stories, play music games, and learn songs that they will sing occasionally as part of Sunday morning worship. Students will also learn about the birth of Christ through the annual Christmas musical (formerly known as Super Kids). S.P.A.R.K. will meet on Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm beginning August 28th.
