The Helping Center was formed through a coalition of nine churches (including St. Peter’s) in Marble Falls and Horseshoe Bay. The Center helps those in need by providing a food pantry and emergency assistance for gas, utilities, and prescription drugs to residents of Southern Burnet County. The Helping Center gives assistance to more than 400 families every month. In addition to cash donations and our members who regularly volunteer their time, St. Peter’s collects non-perishable food items the last Sunday of each month. These items provide a regular influx of items such as canned tuna or chicken, canned vegetables and pastas. To learn more about the Helping Center and how you can help, please contact Joann Ramsey.
